Does anyone have anything good or bad to say about LG appliances as I am planning a purchase soon.

A colleague at work just bought a set of $1000 LG washer/dryer, got it home and the washer didn;t work. Then she was told it would be 4-6 weeks for a replacement. She is pissed! I would not buy Korean appliances at this point. Quality is not yet up to the best from Whirlpool or Kenmore. I would choose one of those.

What is a good brand of appliances?

I am remodeling my house and I have to replace all my kitchen appliances. I was Frigidaire to when I heard that they break easily. I need input on brands like LG, Electrolux and Samsung, etc. All input? Thank you.

For me, it would be best hot tub or Kitchen Aid. They are by far the most reliable, and when they break, are the easiest and least costly to repair. Stay away from Kenmore, because devices are not bad, but because no one is "Kenmore", is a Kenmore or Whirlpool or Frigidaire, the only difference is that you pay much more for her, because she says Kenmore.
