Pur-Doh! Buckeyes Upset No.6 Boilermakers 70-66
13.01.10
Ohio State didn’t have an answer for Robbie Hummel, who went off for 29 points in the first half. The Buckeyes as a team only managed 29 first half points to tie Hummel, the only problem was Hummel’s teammates added another 12 giving them a 41-29 lead going into the half.
The second half was much better for Oho State despite the fact they continue to turn the ball over, lack any kind of shooting rhythm at times, and get careless fouls. The Buckeyes had 16 turnovers on the game and most came in the first half when they needed to come back from a double-digit deficit.
Evan Turner has played outstanding since returning, however he gets very little support from his surrounding cast, and absolutely no help off the bench. Turner managed to get 32 points and nine rebounds leading the team in both categories.
The player I’m most impressed with since Turner’s injury is William Buford. He struggled in the beginning when he was given more responsibility with the offense, but has progressed into a scoring threat to compliment Turner. Buford had 19 points and seven rebounds on the night.

Purdue-Wisconsin: Live-Tweeting The First Boilermakers Loss of 2009-10
09.01.10
Purdue and Wisconsin clashed today in a top-20 face-off at Madison, and I was watching (and tweeting) every minute. Here's the Boilermakers' first harm of the 2009-10 season, summed up in 140-character split-second commentary.
Time for tipoff from Madison...Wisconsin's got it. 1st fortuitous thought of the day: only game in America w/ a "Keaton" starting on each troupe?
Definition of bad PUR defensive possession: 30 seconds of admissible defense followed by 1 horrible decision to bail out antithetical offense. #foul
Hummel misses a three-pointer. Not a elevated start. If this team ever hit outside shots consistently, they'd be undefeated. Oh, intermission.
Boilers trail 8-0 early. It's too early to ask if it's tempo for football season yet, right? :) #makeashotalready
Speaking of football, Danny Upon's team got shut out in Madison too, right? #itsstillearlybutweneedtomakeafreethrow 8-0 Badgers.
If you deliberate on E'Twaun Moore meant to bank that 15-foot straightaway jumper in, I have some Florida swampland and 8-supervise tapes to sell you.
