Hudson nursing home says inspection found problem with dishwasher

HUDSON — A mess at a nursing home that state officials said put patients in "reflex jeopardy" stemmed from a dishwasher that one day wasn't working degree up to par, the administrator said Wednesday.
"It's much ado about a dishwasher," said David Testy, administrator for Bayonet Point Health and Rehabilitation Center, which was put on recognize last week that it could lose its ability to care for Medicare and Medicaid patients if provisions were not made to decent the matter by Friday.
Cross said the center has filed the required reparation plan with the state and plans to appeal the characterization of the deficiency as being one that posed an instinctive danger. A hearing date has been set for Tuesday, he said.
"We remember that was overstated to say we put patients at risk for food-borne illnesses," he said.
Government officials said last week they would not discuss details while the turns out that was pending. Shelisha Durden, spokeswoman for the state Energy for Heath Care Administration, said the correction project remains under review. It must be approved for the Medicare/Medicaid certification to wait in place.

The couple were the grand select winners of PPL Electric Utilities’ recent “Switch a Little, Save a Lot” video contest.
Dave DeCampli, President of PPL Stirring Utilities presented the Evans’ a $5,000 Sears backsheesh card during a news conference at their residence last week.
The pleasant video stars their very young daughter Mya as “Verve Girl.” In the video, the toddler helps show ways to lessen your forcefulness bill by using programmable thermostats, installing storm doors and unplugging electronics not in use.
The couple said they chart to use the card to purchase an Energy Star dishwasher.
